LiposoMore-C significantly improves the absorption rate and bioavailability of vitamin C through its unique bioavailability mechanism.
Liposomes encapsulate vitamin C through a phospholipid bilayer structure, allowing it to be absorbed similarly to dietary fat. This structure makes the absorption of vitamin C in the intestine more efficient because it can pass through the intestinal wall and enter the blood circulation like fat.
Liposome-encapsulated vitamin C is absorbed by the lymphatic system at an efficiency of up to 98%. Compared with ordinary vitamin C, liposomes can deliver more vitamin C to the blood circulation. This is higher than the absorption rate of ordinary vitamin C. Studies have found that the absorption rate of LiposoMore-C (Liposomal Vitamin C) is more than twice that of ordinary vitamin C.
Figure 1. Compared to the same dose (4 grams) of regular vitamin C supplements, LiposoMore-C has better absorption of vitamin C. Encapsulated in phospholipids, vitamin C is absorbed like dietary fat.
The bioavailability of liposomal vitamin C is significantly improved. Clinical studies have shown that the maximum concentration (max), area under the curve from 0 to t (AUC 0-t), and area under the curve from 0 to infinity (AUC 0-∞) of liposomal vitamin C in plasma are all superior to non-liposomal vitamin C. In addition, liposomal vitamin C can prolong its half-life in plasma, thereby maintaining a high concentration for a longer period of time.
Liposome technology not only improves the absorption rate of vitamin C, but also effectively improves its stability. Nano-encapsulation technology makes vitamin C less likely to degrade during digestion, thereby better retaining its activity.
Due to the high absorption rate and bioavailability of liposomal vitamin C, it performs well in antioxidation and promoting collagen synthesis, which is especially important for skin health.
LiposoMore-C contains 80% liposomal vitamin C. It has been verified that 80% liposomal vitamin C has better dispersibility in water and is more suitable for water-based products such as beverages, oral liquids, and solid beverages.
80% liposome VC has better fluidity and can be dispersed in water immediately without any clumping.
